Lodge meeting every 1st Monday of the month.

 

A margin of 15 minutes beyond the time stated in the summons may be allowed for commencing business.

 

Joining V

 

Joining fee                                                                                                        $25.00

 

Passing if initiated in another lodge not including joining fee                     $5.00

 

Raising if initiated in another lodge not including joining fee                     $7.00

 

Joining fee if belonging to a lodge in the Garrison                                               $2.00

 

Joining fee if not belonging to a lodge in the Garrison                              $3.00

 

Foreign lodge for which he shall be provided with a Grand Lodge certificate $5.00

 

Extra fee for emergency meeting, inc. Tyler’s fee, for each candidate      $5.00

 

Monthly contributions VII

 

Monthly contributions is six Reals at each regular meeting.

 

Arrears – Disabilities thereby IX

 

No member who is three months in arrears in his contributions shall have a right to vote upon any matter brought before the lodge, or to make a proposition or be eligible to fill any office.

The secretary will read at every Regular meeting immediately after the minutes have been read, the names of Brethren in arrears, with the amount of their default.

If necessary the secretary will bring before the notice of the lodge, the name of any brother in arrears, and after due notice, he shall, with the approval of the lodge, be struck off the books and notice thereof sent to the lodges in the Garrison, and to Grand and District Grand Lodge.

 

 

 

Elections XIII

 

The master is to be elected on St. John’s day 27th December or some day, if practicable.

 

Tyler XVII

 

It is the duty of the Tyler to deliver summonses with all despatch, to prepare the lodge rooms by the time specified and to keep the lodge rooms, furniture, jewels clean.

For this duty he will secure the sum of $1.6.0 each meeting. A sum of $1.0.0 will be paid to such persons as may be employed to keep clean the lodge rooms and knives and forks.

 

Punctuality of officers – fines for want of. XXIII

 

It is essentially necessary that Brethren accepting office should observe (of all others) punctuality. The following fines shall be inflicted for absence or unpunctuality without legitimate excuse.
